I'm trying to imagine how you would get wikis to work for things like proposals or slide decks. If everyone is working on the same document at the same time or even over a short time span, wouldn't people be changing things that others may not want changed? Wouldn't you have to constantly monitor to see what others have done to ensure the message is the same? I see how it works on Wikipedia but am still fuzzy on how I use them in my job.
